Nestling between International Hall and the foods and beverages Palace, the Court of Reflections, with its placid Siesta Pool, is one of the beauty spots of the Golden Gate International Exposition and will be a center of attraction to millions of visitors during the 1940 season.

President Roosevelt waving his hat toward Golden Gate International Exposition workers
Full grandeur of the rising Golden Gate International Exposition rose behind President Roosevelt above as his official car swung along the western front of Treasure Island towards the luncheon at the administration building. The car had just swung by the gigantic elephant gates to the Exposition’s central court which are fronted by majestic palms along the drive. The President waved his hat toward exposition workers.
